Psychotherapy in East Oxford

As a UKCP-accredited psychodynamic therapist with a rigorous, four-year postgraduate training at Oxford University, I provide a private, confidential space for individuals, couples, and polycules.

My work is focused on examining the unconscious patterns influencing your life, relationships, and wellbeing. Whether you are dealing with acute distress or seeking to explore long-standing personal dynamics, I offer a professional, contained environment. My approach is grounded in the belief that lasting change is best achieved by working through the root causes of our difficulties, while simultaneously addressing the symptoms that bring you to therapy.

My Clinical Approach

I believe our internal emotional worlds are inextricably linked to how we relate to others and how we experience our own bodies and desires. By working within the psychodynamic tradition, we look beyond surface-level conflicts to the deeper patterns shaping your current experience.

My clinical practice encompasses:

  • Relational Dynamics: Addressing the deeper causes of conflict, repetitive cycles, and feelings of disconnection within relationships.

  • Intimacy, Desire & Sex: A non-judgmental space to explore the complexities of desire, sexual satisfaction and human intimacy. I provide specialized support for sexual health concerns—including low desire, difficulties with penetration, and erection problems. I offer a clinically informed environment for those navigating minority sexualities and gender identities, including LGBTQIA+ people, those practising ethical non-monogamy or polyamory, and individuals exploring BDSM and kink.

  • Emotional Patterns: Unpacking long-standing anxieties, depressive patterns, or the impact of life transitions on your ability to live fully.

Qualifications and Training

My practice is informed by an extensive academic and clinical background. Beyond my four-year training at Oxford University, where I also serve as a guest lecturer, I am currently completing a specialized diploma in psychosexual therapy at Tavistock Relationships. This dual focus allows me to offer an analytically rigorous lens to the full spectrum of psychological and sexual health.

I am committed to an anti-racist, LGBTQ+ affirming practice open to all genders and relationship structures. I maintain a reflective, neutral stance that respects your unique history and identity.
